SOMETHING NEW

Hey there, it's Evelyn!
Have you ever asked yourself, "Why the heck not?!" I did. So here we are- my very own blog! I mainly wanted to do this to document my trips with Nick. I feel so lucky that we are able to get up and go and plan trips as we please. We always joke about scrap booking but to be honest, it just never happens. Luckily, Nick loves to record and make videos of our trips so we have a couple of those. I figured it was time for me to have my own thing. We've taken so many trips over the past 7+ years together and I wish I could've kept a journal with all the details of our awesome adventures. Maybe I can go back and post about them in the future. Some of our big trips include NYC, Chicago, Portland, Cancun, Seattle, Sequoia National Forest (home away from home), and our Europe trip. Here are a few pictures:

I'm not someone who loves writing, but the idea of writing about my trips is so exciting that I'm sure I can write forever about it! I love talking about my trips but people don't always care to know or I end up giving a brief summary of how it went. So now, anyone who really means "how was your trip?" and wants to know, can read all about it on my blog (wow, that's crazy and fun!) And if I get no visits, well, at least I'll have this mini journal for myself and I'm ok with that.

Also, I don't read a whole lot of blogs. As a matter of fact, there's only 3 that I really visit. I occasionally visit The Bachelorette's Ali's blog Ali Luvs and Janae's JanaeDay2Day. I don't miss a post from Elizabeth's Have Dog, Will Drive and really, that's who the inspo to blog came from. She encouraged me to do it so BAM, here we are!

Our upcoming trips include Crystal Cove Cottages (which Nick books for us very often) and our roadtrip to Grand Canyon + Zion for camping. So excited to write about those. Stay tuned!
